Upper Minors is the 2nd highest division in Little League and it is the division where kids begin to pitch. Upper Minors is a competitive baseball division with modified Little League rules (stolen base limits, inning scoring limits, etc.). Score is kept during games, standings are kept during the season and there is a postseason tournament. The most skilled players may be eligible for the 8-10 All Star team. This division is designed to prepare players for the Majors division by the time they reach league age 11.
